Tanita Tikaram (innate August 12, 1969) is a pop/folk singer/songwriter. Her style is according to acoustic guitar and on short songs. She became successful around her teens however has since faded into obscurity. She is the sister of actor Ramon Tikaram.
Of Indian-Fijian and Malaysian ancestry (her father was an officer in the British army), Tikaram was born around Münster, Germany and later moved by owning her personal to Basingstoke, England. Her 1988 debut album Ancient Heart, highlighted by the enigmatic "Twist in my Sobriety", which remains her right-known hit, was super successful & led to the globe tour. A song was accompanied by an award-winning black & white streaming video, placed inside rural South America, & directed by Gerard de Thame. A late album, The Sweet Keeper, saw Tikaram start out to appeal to the specialising audience.
